Still in DP, I checked the articles published online by the editorial department since March. They are only handling one or two articles at a time, with intervals of a week or even longer. This indicates that the editorial team is severely understaffed, and most likely in a state of suspension. Back in October last year, articles were being processed daily for online publication, with two articles being published in a day. If you are in a hurry, you may have to write a letter appealing to the editors to prioritize your article.

There is still hope. My second round of revisions did not go through external review. We went straight to the decision panel, but it has been at 3.2 decision pending since then. Only one reviewer mentioned the need to change the title and the issue of unclear photos. Hopefully, this will be helpful to you.
