1. This journal requires payment before acceptance. Payment can be made through two links provided, one of which directs to the "Taiwan Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons" payment gateway that accepts UnionPay. Payment can be made using personal online banking, but currency conversion will be done at the UnionPay gateway, so the bank transaction information will not display dual currencies and may lack details of the transaction parties. Those who need this information for reimbursement should take note and may try the other non-UnionPay payment link.
2. To download the invoice, return to the payment link and log in using the account information provided via email. If the payment page still shows as unpaid after payment has been made, please call the provided phone number for assistance. Once payment is confirmed and the page shows "Paying complete," you can find the "Edit Invoice Data" option below, fill in the necessary details, save, and download the invoice.

The submission is a letter, which was accepted directly within a month. However, the publication and indexing by WOS are relatively slow. It takes 6 months from acceptance to publication and 4 months from publication to being indexed by WOS. According to unreliable sources, PubMed no longer indexes letters from this journal. Friends who are in a hurry and need PubMed retrieval should consider this carefully.

Although it was accepted, since the editor-in-chief sent an email stating that the letter was not counted as a formal citable SCIE-indexed article, does this mean it cannot be indexed by SCI?
