The ACM TIST journal is the most disgusting journal I have ever encountered. The associate editor said that if the issues could be resolved, they would invite a resubmission. After more than a month of revisions, the paper was resubmitted, but the journal administrator directly marked it as a draft, citing that the journal does not accept resubmissions of the same paper. I sent an inquiry email, but did not receive a response. I am shocked by the journal's arrogance and irresponsibility!

Is there a submission? How long does it usually take for the first review of this journal?

The review process is very slow. I submitted to a special issue of the journal, which, according to the call for papers, should have provided feedback within three months of submission. However, it took seven months before I received any feedback. I was rejected after two rounds of revisions and one rejection. I followed up with the editors twice, and they promised results within a week each time, but it took over a month after the second follow-up to receive a decision. In conclusion, I will not be submitting to this journal again. For a journal in the third tier, the review process is too slow and the requirements are too high, making it not cost-effective. Additionally, while the journal asks for research integrity from authors, they should also maintain basic ethics and integrity themselves. If they cannot meet deadlines consistently, they should not set them so far in advance.
