Submitted on 1.15, the first review was completed in about 80 days. Politely reminded three times, and was told to withdraw the submission if no updates. After a weekend, received extensive revision comments from two reviewers with a total of 20 suggestions, mostly positive. Added experiments and resubmitted on 4.26. Received a decision about 3 days later, and was accepted after about seven working days. Overall, the first review was extremely slow, possibly due to difficulty finding a third reviewer. However, the second review was very fast, thanks to the editor and reviewers. It seems that polite reminders are necessary, as there are many submissions taking over three months for the first review. Avoid submitting in a rush! The new Wiley system leaves much to be desired.

All reviewers agreed to accept on 1.11, with some minor details needing modification. Returned on 1.12, accepted on 1.22. The invited reviewers were very professional and highly relevant. The quality of this journal is guaranteed, and it is highly recognized in our field, with a high acceptance rate by the AOM. It is unclear why it is classified as a second-tier journal by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The whole process took four and a half months. Hope this information is helpful to everyone.
