The zinc anode worked well, and submissions were made to angew, aem, and afm but all were rejected. Submissions to ees, esm, and acs nano were also rejected, so it was submitted to jec. The editor worked quickly, but the peer review process was strict. Fortunately, the submission was accepted after 8 months and found its place. Our group had never been accepted by jec before (this was my 6th submission and finally got accepted), so it's okay to trust and submit with confidence. Wishing jec continued success.

Roughly back and forth for about two months, the review process was very quick, I felt it was almost less than 30 days. All five reviewers suggested minor revisions, including me as part of the group. We had submitted to the journal a few times before as a group, but this was my first time submitting as an individual. I am grateful to the editor for the opportunity. Personally, I feel that double-blind peer review is still very good, and there are many opportunities for our group as well.
