I submitted the paper in October last year and received revisions in early December. There were a dozen or so comments, and many changes were made to the discussion section. I revised and resubmitted the paper two days before Christmas, with a break for the New Year and Spring Festival in between. The paper was accepted in mid-February this year, so it took about four months in total. Compared to some quirky journals, the process was still very fast (feels like a high acceptance rate, could this be considered a graduation journal?). The reviewers were very kind. I had many problems with my writing style, even though I produced results, I struggled with expressing them. The reviewer's comments on revisions felt like they were teaching me how to write a paper (sorry, boss, haha), and they could have easily rejected the paper, but they didn't. (PS: My research topic aligns well with the editor's main focus, which probably worked in my favor for acceptance).
