After one month of review, the second trial becomes "Reviewers Assigned" and remains in this state for over a month without any change. After going through three rounds of review, my submission was finally accepted a year and a half after the initial submission. Personally, I feel that the review process was quite fast and the reviewers' comments were very fair. However, the editorial handling was extremely slow. If there is no rush, it is worth trying to submit because the section is not low-ranking.

I thought the minor revision would be accepted quickly, but ended up waiting for nearly half a year. According to the journal's website, the average time for the first decision is 2 months, but the final decision took 5 months. It seems that the review process does indeed align with the announcement. The journal has experienced a rapid increase in impact in recent years, but it also seems that the self-citation rate has also increased significantly.
