The submission was made in August 2025, with repeated invitations to reviewers during the process. In early November, an inquiry email was sent to the editor. The review process began in December 2025. The first round of reviews was completed in March 2026, with constructive feedback suggesting additional experiments. A revised manuscript was submitted in April 2026, and it was accepted for publication in May 2026.

The journal has a relatively long review process, but there was some response after emailing the editor (even though they did not reply to the emails, the process moved forward). If one has ample time (and can tolerate a 10-month wait), they can submit to this journal. However, if one is trying to graduate quickly, it may not be necessary.
