The author is quite lucky. In the latest March issue, the journal has been upgraded from a 4th tier to a 3rd tier in the Chinese Academy of Sciences ranking. Overall, the process was relatively smooth. The first round of reviews took 2 months to receive feedback from two reviewers. Minor revisions were requested, with a month given for revisions. Due to personal reasons, the revisions were submitted just before the deadline. The second round of reviews took around 20 days, with feedback from one reviewer returned 4 days later. After submitting the revised version, the status was not updated for about three weeks. After emailing the editor, the status was updated to "accept" within 3 days. From submission to acceptance, the whole process took a total of 4.5 months.

The review speed is relatively fast, and the editors are very responsible. There is a group of authors who can answer questions. The reviewers include both Chinese scholars and foreign scholars. Overall, the review comments provided are quite professional, and the quality of the journal is improving year by year. Currently, although it is indexed in EI, it has not yet been indexed in SCI, but the future prospects are promising.
