In the field of biomaterials, our manuscript was rejected after submission to AM. Since we already had an article published in ACS Nano, we originally wanted to submit to AFM. However, my advisor felt that the quality of AFM was declining, so he suggested that I submit to Aggregate instead. The manuscript was reviewed the day after submission to Aggregate, and we received the reviewers' comments within three weeks. After spending two weeks on additional experiments and one week on revisions, the manuscript was accepted. We appreciate the quick handling by the editor and reviewers, and we feel that the quality of articles in the biomedical field is quite good.

The first submission to angew resulted in tragedy after review. It is suggested to resubmit to advanced science or small. If rejection continues, consider submitting to aggregate, where feedback is received within two weeks. After making revisions for over twenty days, the revised manuscript was accepted just two or three days later. The whole process took about a month, with efficient editors. Just because I submitted to this journal doesn't mean it's great, it's just a choice. Given the opportunity, I would still choose AM. Never expected to be rejected even after revisions.
