Nature Geoscience has stepped down and given the submission to CEE for review. There are three reviewers, who are very professional and have high demands. CEE is considered one of the best journals in the communications series, and we are optimistic about its future development.

I submitted it in mid-February and sent it for external review in early March, but so far I haven't received any news. I also can't find the review status on Research Square using my communication email. It's really frustrating.
