This journal feels like the editors are very unprofessional. They insist on sending them the raw data file via email, and every time we send it, they claim they cannot download it. We have checked and the sending is fine, so it must be an issue with their attachments being too large or their browser. They don't seem to want to solve the problem, as each email just says they cannot download and asks for a resend. This back and forth has been going on for over ten days now, and it's really frustrating. It's hard to believe that a third-tier journal could be so troublesome - be cautious when submitting!

Just like your situation, after four months of review, no feedback was given and it was rejected directly. I suspect that the manuscript was not even reviewed, and the rejection from the editor was a complete waste of time.

In the first month of submission, I had to constantly contact the corresponding author's institutional email and provide a link to my school's website to prove my current position. After a month of back and forth, the manuscript finally entered the review process. However, after three months of review, I did not receive any feedback and the manuscript was directly rejected. Other journals would at least provide some feedback, but I suspect that this journal did not even have reviewers, so they simply rejected it. I do not recommend submitting to this journal.

The manuscript was under review for 7 months and got rejected without any comments from the reviewers. It feels like it was rejected by the editor, even though the submission system still shows it as under review. I want to publish my article quickly and avoid any further setbacks.

Provide some DP, reviewing for this journal, have reviewed four articles so far, feel like this journal is all about the speed of the academic editor. The articles I reviewed were all submitted within a month, reviewed by the reviewers in two weeks, and then given six months for revision. It seems that the reviewers of this journal have high requirements. I even thought I was reviewing for an immunity journal after reading some other reviewers' comments.

The review process is getting slower now, and the editor was changed in the middle. I waited for 9 months and made two revisions in the process. No additional experiments were needed, and the revisions were made quickly. I have been waiting for the reviewers all this time. Finally, it was accepted.
