The journal level is not to be underestimated. Over 10 years ago, the impact factor was already 4+. The articles are all based on solid work and have software availability. The downside is the slow review speed, and in recent years, there has been a serious inflation in academic journal impact factors. Surprisingly, the impact factor has been stagnant. This is probably related to the fact that the journal has not yet been dominated by domestic peers. However, overall, environmental modeling and GIS circles are still highly recognized internationally
