Some PNG images uploaded to the system result in PDFs with a black background; some PNG images generate PDFs that are very blurry, but there are no problems when downloading the original image. The journal processes submissions quite quickly. The editor invited over 30 people to review the manuscript, but only 8 accepted. After a month, feedback was received from 6 reviewers. One review was very negative, one provided a lot of suggestions, and the rest did not offer much feedback. As a result, the submission was rejected directly... so frustrating!
