The editor did a great job in helping me find a total of 53 reviewers, although only 3 reviewers actually reviewed the manuscript. It went through three rounds of revisions, with two major revisions. If the reviewers ask for additional experiments, please do them as much as possible, as the paper will definitely be accepted after the revisions.

I can probably start looking for another journal again. I have contacted over twenty reviewers and just got rejected after two months, for fear of delaying my acceptance, with no specific comments. But I have to say the editor is still very nice.

Thanks to the efficient editing team at EJP, here is a timeline for reference: submitted on 24.11.22, with editor on 24.11.27, under review on 24.11.28, RRC on 24.12.24, DIP on 24.12.26, revise on 25.1.8 (waited for several days due to Christmas holidays), one reviewer accepted and one required revisions, resubmitted on 25.4.16 and under review the next day (with one reviewer), accepted on 25.4.24. For submission to UU, please note: WB needs to be reorganized, I have provided all the original data including statistics; revisions should be made in the format of recent publications to facilitate editors' decisions and processing.
