Manuscript was submitted on January 7th, the first revision was made on January 23rd, and the fifth revision on May 25th. Both reviewers' comments were very minor, thinking that once revised, it would be ready for acceptance. However, after a long wait of nearly 2 months, a message was sent on July 9th inquiring about the status. A quick response was received, stating that they were still collecting opinions from external reviewers. Later on July 9th, an email from the editorial department was received, with an additional 2 reviewers' comments added. I am truly frustrated. For just a 1-point journal, it has been a hassle for half a year, and the outcome is still unknown. Too depressing.
