Experience sharing: I got one accepted, but it was for a special issue of a conference. Submitted on November 30th, received the first review result in less than a month, one reviewer had no comments at all, while the other reviewer seemed to not like our content very much, and only made some general comments. After some time, made some modifications based on the second reviewer's feedback, added some content, submitted on January 4th, and was accepted on the 5th. Due to not receiving the typesetting email in the meantime, it was delayed, and was only published online on February 9th. Our article is still relatively new, there are very few articles on nanotechnology in Phytochemistry Reviews, and the guest editor was very supportive. But to be honest, if it was for a regular issue instead of a special issue, I wonder if it would have been as smooth
