After the article was proofread and accepted, it was quickly published online. About two weeks later, it was included in the core collection of WoS. It's really fast, no wonder it was once known as the magazine of miracles in graduation!

The submission was made on July 31, 2025. The same day, the editor replied to the email requesting that all images be added with a scale and the full uncut whole film white balance image be uploaded in the manuscript. The revised submission was uploaded as requested on August 1. More than 3 reviewers were invited, 2 of whom agreed to review. The review comments were received on September 26. The first revised manuscript was uploaded on October 12. The second round of review comments was received on November 11, and the second revised manuscript was uploaded on November 15. The manuscript was accepted on November 27. Overall, the editor and reviewers were quite nice (although the second reviewer had 19 questions ?). The most time-consuming part was finding reviewers, which took over a month, while the review process itself generally took around 2 weeks. My submission was rejected in just two days, the reason being lack of experience in the first submission, and failure to check for plagiarism before submitting led to text overlap, with most of the duplicated parts in the methods section. I believe the content is innovative enough. Can I resubmit after reducing the similarity? Please help me out, experts. Also, my paper is around 6000 words, while the short paper requirement is 4600 words. Can I still submit the shorter version for consideration?

The official website states that the first decision will be made in approximately 18 days. The submission has been made 5 days ago, and the current status is "submitted to journal". The manuscript has not been assigned to an editor yet. Updates will be provided in the future.

The journal is very friendly and efficient, with strict requirements for data quality. After the first submission, they require a Western blot image. After supplementing the information, it enters the peer review process the next day, with the first review completed within 20 days. After revisions, it quickly enters the second review, and after minor revisions, it is accepted. The proofs are online in just a few days. The whole process takes less than two months. It has to be said that this journal is truly amazing, and the submission experience is excellent!

Submitted in mid-April, technical revisions were made 1 day later and resubmitted. A few days later, it was under review. In late April, there was a technical revision, and the next day it was directly accepted. Super efficient journal, love it.

The submission was a full-length article, which took nearly 4 months in total with a total of 5 reviewers providing many comments. If time is tight, it is not recommended to submit a full-length article. However, there is no problem with submitting a short communication, as it is much faster.
