JPPB is one of the few journals that has maintained a position in the field of optical biology. The speed is decent, usually providing results within a month. Experience Sharing: This journal was previously submitted by a junior teacher, who said it was pretty good. My field is photochemistry, with relatively new innovative points, so I wasn't too worried before. I received comments in less than two months. There were two reviewers, one of whom should be Japanese. They were very nice and gave a lot of helpful advice. It took me about a week to make revisions, and then it was accepted after one week of re-review. This was my first time submitting by myself, and I wasn't familiar with many of the processes. Be sure to carefully read the submission requirements, which can be downloaded in PDF format and are very comprehensive. I submitted on September 30, 2019, and the paper was published on December 24, 2019. You can rest assured when submitting to this journal
