The randomness of this journal is really too great. After submitting my manuscript, the editor went missing for eight months after revisions were requested, and no one was handling it. I had to repeatedly urge for progress, and it was finally accepted after five months, which seems quite fast based on everyone else's experiences.

I submitted my manuscript around May this year, and within two to three days it went through technical review and editor assignment. Then followed a three-month long process of the editor repeatedly inviting reviewers and peer evaluations. During this time, I received two review reports, but for some reason they inexplicably disappeared (the number of received reports later showed zero). Perhaps the editor thought the quality of the reviews was not good. I would inquire about the status every two weeks because I really needed this article. When it came back for major revisions in August, I received close to seventy comments from five reviewers, which was quite overwhelming, but the comments were overall professional and detailed.

I did not request an extension, and rushed to make revisions before the deadline. The editor sent it for review on the same day, and after another month, I received second-round comments from three of the previous reviewers. After minor revisions, it was quickly accepted.

This editor is actually quite fast, and it seems to depend on the progress of the reviewers. Whether you need to graduate urgently or cautiously, I wish everyone success in being accepted.

Submitted on May 25th, passed technical review on May 27th and assigned an editor. Reviewers were invited on June 23rd, followed up twice in September, and received an email response stating that they are waiting for feedback from the invited experts. The manuscript submitted in February was held by the editor for two and a half months before being sent out for external review after two reminders. It received minor revisions and was accepted on August 8th. Despite the slow process, the journal in the second district was relatively friendly. The publication fee was very expensive, costing me 25,000 yuan.

This journal is really a minefield. After revising and resubmitting in October last year, I didn't receive any feedback until February. The editor kept delaying and didn't provide the review comments. I sent two reminder emails during this period. In June, the editor finally sent the only review comments back, which I revised and resubmitted. Now, another month has passed, and the submission cycle for this article has already been one year and one month. I am really frustrated.

Expected quick second round, but minor revisions requested in Jan 2025. Revised quickly, but no response for two months. After several emails asking for the progress, they eventually said

YOUR EDITOR-IN-CHIEF WAS MISSING! 

Waited for a new editor; finally accepted in Apr 2025. 14 months from submission to publication. 

Conclusion: DO NOT SUBMIT TO THIS JOURNAL!
